Hatchers is one of the country's longest established department stores. Our origins can be traced back to a humble drapery store set up way back in 1775. Still family run and proudly independent, we aim to offer the people of Taunton and the surrounding area an alternative shopping experience from that found elsewhere on the High Street. The store is conveniently located close to three of the town's main car parks and is attached to Orchard Shopping Centre.

Hatchers has a long established reputation in the area for selling televisions and today this is provided by our very own Panasonic Store, where we stock all of the latest Panasonic televisions, recorders, hi-fi and cameras.   Our staff under go specialist training to ensure they have expert level knowledge on the very latest Panasonic products and technologies.
